A Little Bit About Me.
We All Start Somewhere.
Hi, I'm Nicolle!
I believe healing happens when people are met with warmth, curiosity, and a space to be fully themselves. Life isn’t always easy, and sometimes we need guidance, tools, and a little support to navigate challenges. I’m passionate about helping clients learn skills, gain insight, and develop resilience while honoring their unique strengths and experiences.
The heart of my work is a person-centered philosophy: you are the expert in your life, and I’m here to guide, support, and collaborate with you. I aim to create a space that’s safe, creative, and human—where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore, heal, and grow!

This is My Story
I began my career as a therapist in community mental health, working in homes, outpatient programs, and schools as a trauma therapist. Those early years taught me the importance of meeting people where they are and shaped my commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces for healing.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent much of my life studying theology (I hold a degree in Theology and English), preparing for pastoral work, and serving in missions. My own journey of deconstructing and later reconstructing faith ultimately led me to specialize in supporting religious trauma survivors: helping them reclaim their sense of self and safety. Years of travel and living in different parts of the U.S. and abroad further expanded my perspective, teaching me to notice resilience in its many forms and to honor the diverse ways people heal and grow.
I earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bay Path University and am now a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Connecticut. As a late-diagnosed AuADHD woman, I know firsthand what it’s like to slip through the cracks. That experience fuels my passion for supporting others—especially women—who are just beginning to discover their true identities. My ten-plus years in corporate America also aid in the supervision and business consulting I provide to therapists: helping them build sustainable, values-aligned practices.
Today, all of these experiences come together in my private practice, where I work with creativity, warmth, and a neurodivergent-informed lens to support both clients and colleagues alike!
My Approach
I take an eclectic, person-centered approach to therapy, blending evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, ARC, IFS, and SFBT with creative tools to make the work feel meaningful and engaging. I love weaving in inner child work and bibliotherapy, because sometimes the right story or reflection can open doors that traditional methods can’t. At the heart of it all, therapy with me is collaborative—you are the expert in your life, and I’m here to guide, support, and cheer you on as you navigate challenges and growth.
I design sessions to feel practical but also human and sustainable, focusing on balance, self-compassion, and what truly matters to you rather than external pressures or “doing it all.” Whether we’re working through religious trauma, neurodivergence, or just life throwing curveballs, my goal is to create a space that’s safe, creative, and a little bit fun—where you can explore, heal, and build strategies that actually fit your life. And most of all, you’ll learn the opposite of what this life and culture tell you—you’ll be able to work with your brain and body, not against them.
